Mark Bathrick, Drone Program Architect, Retired Federal Executive (Aviation), Retired Navy Fighter Pilot & Test Pilot

Mark L Bathrick is the former Director of the U.S. Department of the Interior’s (DOI) Office of Aviation Services (OAS) and current President of Bathrick Aviation Consulting.  As Director, Mark was responsible for the safety, compliance, and performance of over 2,000 contracted and government-owned crewed and uncrewed aircraft and pilots.  Mark was also instrumental in affecting some of the greatest modernization of wildland firefighting aircraft in the last 30-years.  He led efforts to test and integrate new platforms like the Very Large Air Tanker, the amphibious single engine air tanker, NextGen air tankers, and drones for aerial ignition, precision mapping, hotspot detection, and other applications.


Toni Drummond, President & Co-Founder, Future Flight Global

Toni Drummond is an internationally recognized aviation entrepreneur whose 25-year career has been defined by groundbreaking contributions to advanced air mobility, sustainable aviation, and emerging aerospace technologies. With a deep understanding of the aviation sector and a history of executive leadership roles, she has continually pushed the industry forward, advancing innovation and elevating standards.

As Founder and President of Future Flight Global, Drummond oversees the global deployment of sustainable aviation assets, including electric and hybrid-powered aircraft and UAVs. Gary Mortimer, Founder and Editor, sUAS News

Gary Mortimer has been flying hot air balloons for 30 years and flying balloons has taken him all over the world. Prior to that, he made tea and coffee in air traffic control towers across the UK as a member of the Royal Air Force. In 2002, a use case for RPAS came up in the Maasi Mara, Kenya, which accidentally led to him building sUAS News, the world's largest small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) news website. He is also a STEAM teacher.


Stephen Sutton, Managing Director, Flyby Guys

Stephen Sutton is one of the founders of Finnish drone company, Flyby Guys. He began flying drones in 2017 and since then has led Flyby Guys to incredible heights with drone operations around the world. Their experience has gone from telecom and utility inspections to drone delivery projects, and their world-famous drone lights shows, which they operate around the globe.

Stephen is also a consultant to the drone industry, guiding and helping others find their feet in this tough and demanding industry.
