Jenn Player is Head of Global Aviation Regulatory Affairs at Skydio. Jenn collaborates with customers, regulators, and standards development organizations to advance autonomy and unlock docked drone operations.
Jenn participates in ASTM Committee F38, JARUS ISB/WG-AW, and the FAA Advanced Aviation/Drone Advisory Committee in working groups on BVLOS operations, detect and avoid technology, remote ID, airworthiness, and autonomy. She served as an industry working group lead on the FAA’s UAS BVLOS Aviation Rulemaking Committee and participated in the UAS Detection and Mitigation Rulemaking Committee. She has over 10 years of experience in uncrewed aircraft systems research, testing, and operations. Her early work to integrate drones into the National Airspace System through the FAA’s Pathfinder Program with BNSF Railway led to the first long-range BVLOS civil flight in the continental United States.
Prior to joining Skydio, Jenn founded Avineer LLC, a consulting firm helping manufacturers in the drone delivery space navigate the type certification process and helping enterprises gain approvals for BVLOS and other complex operations.
Jenn received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and has completed graduate coursework in Robotics and Data Science. She holds an FAA Remote Pilot certificate and a Private Pilot certificate with ratings in single-engine airplanes and gliders.
As the CFO and Co-Founder of DRONEII.com, Hendrik Boedecker leads market research and analytics for the commercial drone sector. He previously worked as a quality engineer at Lufthansa Technik AG, where he was focused on compliance and process management. His professional background in aviation and supply chain management complements his practical experience in the field. He is passionate about advancing civil aviation and leveraging innovative solutions in the industry.
Ken Stewart has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of NUAIR since Dec 2020. Prior to joining NUAIR, Stewart held several leadership positions at General Electric including CEO of AiRXOS, a GE aviation company, where he led innovation, development, and commercialization of Unmanned Traffic Management services, and Managing Director at GE Ventures overseeing the new business creation function for GE. Prior to that Mr. Stewart served in executive roles with several venture capital and private equity-backed companies commercializing and scaling pre-revenue start-ups and transforming organizations for growth. Mr. Stewart also serves on the board of New York Aviation Management Association (NYAMA) as well as the Commercial Drone Alliance, (CDA) organizations that work with federal policymakers and industry stakeholders to help create relevant rules to scale commercial UAS and Advanced Air Mobility operations.
Nitin is the Founder and CEO of FlytBase, Inc. He is a graduate from IIT Bombay and he received his Masters in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, USA. He has over 20 years of experience in the automation and aerial robotics industry and has been an invited speaker at various drone industry forums. Nitin founded FlytBase about a decade ago to build intelligent software products for automated commercial drones. FlytBase has won several recognitions for its innovation and world-class products, including, the Grand Champion Award at the NTT Data’s Global Innovation Contest, Tokyo, in 2019. FlytBase’s products are used by leading enterprise customers across 50+ countries to deploy fully automated drones at scale.
Jeremiah has spent over a decade cultivating communities of all different types, both in-person and online. He has created articles, videos, newsletters, ebooks and plenty more for these communities as a contributor and editor. He has also shaped and defined various conference programs. Today, he is focused on defining what it means to take the engagement that happens in both the physical and digital worlds to the next level.
