Andy Fell from Gotonomi, a TTP company, discussed his company’s new communications system for autonomous UAV operations with Commercial UAV News Editorial Analyst Scott Howe on the show floor at Commercial UAV Expo 2023. In a video interview, Fell explained how this miniaturized system enables satellite and cellular connectivity for UAVs and facilitates BVLOS flights. Providing a secure datalink between vehicles, remote operators, and air traffic control, the system, he said, enables users to develop new capabilities including command and control for safety, telemetry, data services, and voice and video streaming.
