One of the key elements to developing a successful and thriving drone ecosystem is the public. Going beyond public acceptance of drone technology to generating demand for drone services, can do a lot to move the industry forward. Yet, as important as having that public support and demand is, Michael Healander, President and CEO of Airspace Link Inc., emphasizes that it is also important for the industry to be sitting down with elected public officials to educate them on the value of developing and spearheading efforts like smart cities and drone services for their communities.
