AUVSI's 2018 XPONENTIAL event recently took place in Denver, and much like previous years, it showcased numerous themes and developments that will have a major impact on the commercial drone industry for the rest of 2018 and beyond. Aside from the news associated with partnership announcements like Kittyhawk and Jeppesen taking LAANC to a whole new level as well as Optelos partnering with Consortiq to deliver a drone fleet management platform, PrecisionHawk's announcement of a BVLOS blueprint will surely help organizations of all sizes consider how they want to approach this type of operation. Those are just a few of the stories that were announced and highlighted at XPONENTIAL though, with plenty more happening in sessions and on the exhibit floor.
Just as we've done at other events, we tried to capture as much as we could in pictures and quotes from the exhibit floor, sessions and press conferences that took place at XPONENTIAL. Other individuals and organizations from across the commercial drone landscape took part in the effort as well, and what's below is a brief look at the live tweets which helped capture and define what happened in Denver. For plenty more direct quotes, videos and pictures, check out the #auvsixpo hashtag and use it to continue to conversation.Unveiling the ScanEagle 3 from @Insitu_Inc at @AUVSIshow @AUVSI #auvsixpo pic.twitter.com/2xyMHpfXZk
